An anointed, focused woman of God, Jahnjae E. Alex is a native of Monrovia, Liberia West Africa. She has a passion for Gods’ People to be blessed and surrounded by His favor…as with a shield (Psalm 5:12). One of her desires was to be a missionary for God, working on foreign soil. Psalm 37:4 declares that when you delight yourself in the Lord, He gives you the desires of your heart; and He brought her to America to do just that…to bring others to the saving knowledge and grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and into relationship with Him.
Lady Jahnjae graduated from Bishop Ludden High School, and then continued studies at Tuskegee Institute and Auburn University, in Alabama. She also graduated from cosmetology school and is a licensed cosmetologist. To further develop herself in reaching and ministering to all people, she enrolled in the Onondaga Pastoral Counseling Centers’ Clinical Pastoral Care Training Program and successfully completed and graduated from the program.
A powerful teacher of the Word of God, Lady Alex is a licensed Evangelist Missionary and has been blessed to speak, teach and proclaim God’s Word in many settings. She describes herself as a teacher, “line upon line … precept upon precept.” She carries herself with confidence in the Lord, and encourages all women to present themselves as daughters of the King of Kings.
She is an active participant with Turning The World Upside Down Covenant Fellowship, where Bishop T. Anthony Bronner is Presiding Prelate. Evangelist Alex is also active with both the Trinity District and Jurisdictional Women’s Department of Western New York Second Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of the Church of God in Christ, where Bishop Glenwood H. Young is Presiding Prelate, and Dr. Wilma J. Hughey is Supervisor of Women; who also appointed Lady Alex as Director of the WNY 2nd Jurisdictional Pastors’ Wives Circle. Her goal is for the women of this circle and all wives to crown their husband’s vision and life with glory and honor (Proverbs 12:4). In her community, Lady Alex serves on the Boards of the Syracuse Community Health Center, Inc., and its managed care arm, “Total Care”.
Married on 1st November 1986, Lady Jahnjae is first and foremost the proud wife of the dynamic, highly anointed and gifted Elder H. Bernard Alex, who she lovingly refers to as “My Angel; and the delighted mother of four children, “her gems”; three daughters; Zeruiah, Zaire, Zion and one son, Zecarjah. As Shepherd Mother/Executive Minister, she teaches and supports the work of ministry under the leadership of her husband who is Pastor, Teacher, Prophet; of the Victory Temple Fellowship Church, “ A Church of God in Christ”, in Syracuse, New York. The Lord is opening many doors for Lady Alex. She is gentle, easy to be entreated and has a love for God, His Word and His people. Prepare to be blessed by the “the biggest little First Lady in America”.
